Who We Are
Coastal Cruises is a trading name of Westgate Travel, an independent family run travel agency based at 91 Talbot Road in Talbot Green, near Pontyclun in South Wales. The business was established in 1989 and has been trading ever since, run by partners J D and A W Paulett.
For many years our speciality has been the far north and the far south. We are well known as UK agents for Hurtigruten's voyages along the Norwegian coast, which you can find on our sister site norwegiancoastalcruises.com. When Hurtigruten's expedition ships were separated into their own company in 2023, under the name HX, we carried on selling their Antarctica voyages. This website is where we keep everything you need to know about cruising to Antarctica, the places you will visit and the expedition lines that take you there.
How We Help
Antarctica is a big decision and a big investment, and most people have a lot of questions before they book. Which ship? How many days on the ice? Is South Georgia worth the extra time? What happens if the Drake Passage is rough? We are happy to talk all of that through on the phone, with no pressure and no call centre script.
When you are ready we check live availability and current offers, hold a cabin while you decide, and handle the booking with the cruise line on your behalf. We can also help with international flights to Buenos Aires or Santiago, extra hotel nights and travel insurance. Our how to book page explains each step.

Westgate Travel is a member of the Travel Trust Association. Details of the TTA financial protection scheme can be found at thetravelnetworkgroup.co.uk. Flight inclusive packages are protected under the cruise line's own ATOL licence, and you will receive an ATOL certificate when you book a package that includes flights. HX Expeditions packages, for example, are protected under HX Group Ltd's ATOL.
